Wireless smartphone charging and voice recognition are integral to the newer infotainment systems.

Infiniti Cars with Apple CarPlay
#1 Infiniti Q50
The Q50 is an entrant in the small luxury sedan segment with several all-stars like the Lexus IS 350, Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, and Mercedes-Benz C-Class – all with Apple CarPlay functionality, wired or wireless.
2020 saw Apple CarPlay added to the standard features list for the Infiniti Q50, with the 2022 and newer models getting wireless connectivity for added convenience.
The rest of the first-gen Infiniti Q50 models from 2014 to 2019 aren’t Apple CarPlay compatible.
#2 Infiniti Q60
Infiniti no longer produces the four-seater Q60 after 2022, following a six-year run in the luxury coupe segment.
Still, it exited the market on a high of sorts, with the 2022 Infiniti Q60 sporting wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity, although its Android Auto functionality remained on a cabled connection.
2020 and 2021 Infiniti Q60 premium coupes had wired Apple CarPlay integration as standard.
Other second-generation Infiniti Q60 models from 2017 to 2019 (and older-gen models) did not support Apple CarPlay.
#3 Infiniti Q70
The Q70 was a large V8-equipped sedan produced between 2014 and 2019.
Car buyers interested in getting a used Infiniti Q70 with Apple smartphone functionality will be disappointed with the sedan’s lack of support for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
Infiniti SUVs with Apple CarPlay
#4 Infiniti QX30
The QX30 blurs the distinction between coupe, hatchback, and SUV with its unique form.
Still, it had a relatively short run, debuting in 2017 and ceasing production in 2019.
Regardless, the Infiniti QX30 left buyers wanting on the technology front, with no Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, so users had to rely on Bluetooth.
#5 Infiniti QX50
The QX50 is a small crossover with several pluses, including a spacious interior, a roomy cargo area, and a quiet and comfortable cabin even at elevated speeds.
SUV shoppers desiring an Infiniti QX50 with Apple CarPlay integration should opt for a 2020 or newer model, although wireless Apple smartphone connectivity became standard from 2022 onwards.
Older models of the Infiniti QX50 generation from 2014 to 2019 did not support Apple CarPlay.
#6 Infiniti QX55
If you want a more stylish small Infiniti SUV than the QX50, the QX55 is the answer.
Since debuting in 2022, the Infiniti QX55 compact crossover has had wireless Apple CarPlay smartphone integration as standard equipment.
#7 Infiniti QX60
The QX60 competes against popular models like the Acura MDX and Audi Q7 in the midsize three-row premium SUV segment.
Apple CarPlay forms the standard equipment list for 2022 and newer Infiniti QX60 SUVs, working wirelessly as well as with a USB cable.
However, all first-generation Infiniti QX60 models between 2014 and 2020 were not Apple CarPlay compatible.
#8 Infiniti QX70
The QX70 was an exciting performance SUV, but its presence was relatively short-lived, spanning from 2014 to 2017.
Still, no Infiniti QX70 models had Apple CarPlay or Android Auto smartphone functionality, regardless of the model year.
#9 Infiniti QX80
The QX80 is a large family-hauling three-row SUV, seating up to seven or eight occupants, and has a high tow rating.
Apple CarPlay smartphone integration has been standard equipment in the Infiniti QX80 full-size SUV since 2020, although those preferring wireless connectivity should opt for a 2022 or newer model.
2019 and older Infiniti QX80 models did not support Apple CarPlay functionality, leaving the USB ports as the only ways to connect any electronic devices.
