Do All Nissans Have Apple CarPlay & When Did They Get It?
Most latest Nissan cars and SUVs have Apple CarPlay integration. Still, Nissan did not begin equipping its vehicles with the Apple CarPlay smartphone functionality through the NissanConect infotainment system until 2017 or 2018 – some as late as 2022.

Nissan Cars with Apple CarPlay
#1 Nissan Versa
The Versa remains one of the few subcompact sedans still in production.
Most Nissan Versa models have had Apple CarPlay connectivity since 2019, including the base S trim, allowing drivers to get directions through their phones.
2018 and older Nissan Versa sedans did not have Apple CarPlay.
#2 Nissan Sentra
The small car segment sees several famous nameplates like the Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, and Hyundai Elantra, making Nissan Sentra a somewhat mediocre player.
Still, most Nissan Sentra sedans in 2019 and 2020 have had Apple CarPlay, including the SV and SR trims, and the integration became standard equipment from 2021 onwards.
The seventh-generation Nissan Sentra from 2013 to 2018 (bar the 2019 model) did not have Apple CarPlay.
#3 Nissan Altima
All Nissan Altima midsize sedans have had standard Apple CarPlay smartphone connectivity since the 2019 model, while the 2018 version only had such compatibility in the upper trims.
Fifth-gen Nissan Altima models manufactured from 2013 to 2017 did not have Apple CarPlay.
#4 Nissan Maxima
The Maxima is unique among mainstream midsize sedans, with sportier handling and an attractive cabin rivaling pricier models.
Since 2017, Nissan Maxima has had standard Apple CarPlay, including the SV, SR, and Platinum trims.
Unfortunately, Apple CarPlay compatibility isn’t available in 2016 and older Nissan Maximas.

#5 Nissan Juke
Nissan stopped making the subcompact Juke after 2017.
Still, no Nissan Juke model years have Apple CarPlay connectivity, so the automaker’s newer subcompact crossover (next on the list) will be a better fit for those wanting smartphone connectivity.
#6 Nissan Kicks
This quirky little crossover replaced the outgoing Juke as a 2018 debutant.
In 2018, 2019, and 2020, Nissan Kicks had Apple CarPlay through NissanConnect in the higher trims like the SV and SR.
However, Apple CarPlay became a standard provision in the Nissan Kicks from 2021 onwards.
#7 Nissan Rogue Sport
Nissan discontinued the Rogue Sport crossover for the American market after 2022.
2019 to 2022 Nissan Rogue Sport had Apple CarPlay as standard equipment, while the 2017 and 2018 models did not have smartphone integration.
#8 Nissan Rogue
2018 and newer Nissan Rogue small SUVs have had Apple CarPlay integration as standard equipment.
Older Nissan Rogue models like the 2017 and earlier versions did not have Apple CarPlay.

The Frontier was relatively late to the party of midsize trucks with Apple smartphone compatibility.

2019 and newer Nissan Titan full-size pickups have Apple CarPlay as a standard provision.
